RN - Antepartum - Night Shift

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse - Antepartum provides safe, compassionate care to diverse patient populations by developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. They collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes, communicate effectively with patients and families, and document all care activities. Key Responsibilities Assess patient health data and create personalized care interventions.Communicate care plans and progress to patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Educate patients and families on disease management, emergency procedures, and medication use, considering cultural and learning needs.Support peers through knowledge sharing, feedback, and delegation.Assist with technical procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and IV management.Participate in quality improvement, research, and professional development activities.Conduct wound/ostomy/skin care rounds if skilled, monitor treatment effectiveness, and support evidence-based practices.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and assist in patient transport as needed. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse licensure with antepartum experience (minimum 18 months for sign-on bonus eligibility).Strong assessment, communication, and teaching skills tailored to patient needs.Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support professional growth.Basic technical proficiency in clinical procedures and wound care (preferred).Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality improvement.
