Role Overview A registered nurse specializing in antepartum care, primarily working night shifts, providing safe and compassionate care to diverse patient populations. The role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The nurse assesses patients, communicates effectively with patients and families, and documents care activities. Responsibilities include patient education tailored to cultural and learning needs, supporting self-management, and participating in professional development and quality improvement initiatives. The nurse may assist with technical procedures, wound/ostomy care, and patient transport, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
