RN - Antepartum - Night Shift

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse in the Antepartum unit provides safe, compassionate care by developing and evaluating patient care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring optimal outcomes. Key responsibilities include assessing patients, communicating care plans, educating patients and families on disease management, and documenting health data. The nurse may assist technical staff with procedures, participate in performance improvement activities, and support evidence-based practices. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant nursing experience in antepartum care, strong assessment and communication skills, cultural competence, and ability to collaborate effectively. Knowledge of wound, ostomy, and skin care is a plus. Key duties involve individualizing patient education, contributing to professional development, and providing psychological support. The role may require flexible float to postpartum units and assisting with patient transport.
