Registered Nurse - Antepartum - Night Shift

About the Role

The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate care by developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans. Collaborating with the healthcare team, they ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise care plans based on patient progress and data.
• Assess patients, gather health information, and communicate with patients, families, and providers.
• Educate patients and families tailored to their cultural and learning needs, including disease management and emergency care.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge, and support professional development.
• Provide psychological support and assist technical staff with procedures such as injections and IV management.
• Participate in quality improvement and research activities, staying current with best practices.
• If skilled, conduct wound/ostomy/skin care rounds, monitor treatment effectiveness, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Support patient transport and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in antepartum care.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to educate patients, collaborate effectively, and contribute to a supportive, evidence-based environment.
