Position Summary
The River Street Schools and Programs Operations Coordinator III is responsible for overseeing the school's administrative functions, systems, and support services. Reporting directly to the Director, this position supervises the operations administrative team and ensures the effective coordination of student information management, budgeting and financial processes, contract administration, state reporting, reception services, and organizational communications. This role develops and implements operational procedures, monitors workflow effectiveness, fosters cross-department collaboration, and serves as a key liaison between Program administration and Central Office departments. This position promotes efficiency, compliance, customer service, and continuous improvement across all site-based operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Operations Leadership and Administration
- Provide guidance and supervision to operational support staff.

- Coordinate and oversee daily operational workflows to ensure efficient, effective program operations.
- Establish priorities, assign work, monitor productivity, and evaluate performance of assigned staff.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational consistency and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure operational practices comply with CREC policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee systems and processes related to student information management, attendance reporting, state reporting, and record maintenance.

- Coordinate with school leadership and central office departments regarding budget planning, projections, and operational expenditures.
- Oversee purchasing, accounts payable activities, procurement processes, and purchasing card reconciliation procedures.
- Oversee contract administration processes supporting River Street School programs and services.
- Monitor front-office operations, visitor management procedures, and administrative support services.
- Support the coordination of site logistics, operational planning, and resource management.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for school leadership.
- Team Supervision and Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between the Program, Central Office departments, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and distribute staff newsletters and operational communications.
- Promote effective communication systems that support staff engagement and information sharing.
- Ensure high-quality customer service standards in all front office and administrative functions.

- Participate in leadership teams, committees, and special projects as assigned.
- Support school-wide initiatives and strategic priorities.

Qualifications
An associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or more than five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
