Responsibilities
- Negotiate terms and conditions for land acquisition and easement agreements
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including property owners, developers, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure all agreements comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Prepare and review documentation related to land acquisitions and easements
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to resolve issues and maintain relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as law, business, or environmental science
- Minimum 3 years of experience in land acquisition or similar field
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Knowledge of real estate law and regulations
- Experience with contract drafting and negotiation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
