About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring easements and managing right-of-way projects. This role involves site visits, contract negotiations, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage the acquisition of easements and rights-of-way for various projects.
- Negotiate contracts with landowners and developers.
- Prepare and review legal documents related to easement acquisitions.
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Document all aspects of easement acquisitions and project progress.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Law, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in easement acquisition or similar field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of local zoning laws and regulations.
- Experience with GIS software and mapping tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
