About the role

We are seeking a Revit Team Member to join our growing CAD/BIM team and help transition our water resource projects into the Revit environment. This experienced designer will work in a fast-paced engineering setting, often tackling creative solutions to complex design challenges. Frequent coordination and communication with design engineers is essential to problem-solving, process improvement, and on-time project delivery. Preferred locations for this position are Boise, ID, Kirkland, WA, and Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Revit projects, coordinating with project teams.
• Set up Revit projects utilizing multiple models, files, and team members.
• Manage Cloud projects.
• Create and manage View Templates, Views, Sheets, and Schedules in accordance with standards and desired outcomes.
• Create and manage Revit content with required knowledge of MEP discipline.
• Actively participate in projects by providing support through all phases of design and delivery.
• Collaborate with Revit, Inventor, and Civil 3D within a master model.
• Manage multiple assignments, remain highly organized, and produce high-quality work at a fast pace.

Preferred experience includes water treatment plants, pump stations, fish hatcheries, and hydropower facilities or similar MEP projects.

Qualifications

• Expertise with Autodesk’s Revit, including pipe routing, equipment placement, and clash detection.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and ability to manage ACC projects.
• Proficiency with Navisworks and 3D coordination.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Preferred: 10 years of experience as an MEP designer.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Dynamo or Python for Revit.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Fire Protection.
• Experience in water resources, including Fish Hatcheries, Hydroelectric Power, and Pump Storage.
• Good technical writing and professional communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to collaborate productively with multidisciplinary team members on concurrent projects.

• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to travel with luggage and transport materials and personal overnight supplies.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

$43.63 - $70.00 per hour, depending on experience.
