Revit Specialist - MEP

About The Role

This position requires U.S. citizenship. We're seeking Revit professionals to join our on-site team in Arlington, Virginia. You'll support an ongoing program to modernize building documentation — converting legacy CAD files to a Revit-based BIM environment. Your work will directly enhance the value of building data for operations, maintenance, and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D Revit models of MEP systems
• Convert legacy CAD and MicroStation files to LOD 300+ Revit models
• Integrate LIDAR point clouds, redlines, field verification, and as-built data
• BIM & Document Management: Support Revit template creation and BIM workflows, Conduct model QA/QC, Maintain model metadata and version control
• Collaboration: Coordinate with GIS, engineering, project management, and other stakeholders, Participate in BIM meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
• Records Management: Index drawings and models into a secure project data repository, Perform file conversions and ensure records compliance
• Service & Reporting: Respond to service requests, Provide visual deliverables to support planning and project execution, Assist with training on BIM standards and tools

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of Revit experience (AEC, facilities, construction, or related field)
• Technical Skills: Proficient with: Autodesk Revit (3D modeling, families), Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems modeling, Familiar with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and COBie
• Additional Requirements: Experience with point clouds is a plus, U.S. Citizenship, Ability to pass background screening, On-site work: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
