About the role

We are seeking a Revit Team Member to join our growing CAD/BIM/VDC team and transition our water resource projects into the Revit environment. This role involves creative design solutions for complex problems in a fast-paced engineering setting, with frequent coordination and communication with design engineers to improve processes and meet project deadlines. Preferred locations for this position are Boise, ID and Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP portions of Revit projects and collaborate with project teams.
• Create and manage views, sheets, and schedules in accordance with standards and desired outcomes.
• Apply knowledge of MEP discipline to actively support all phases of design and delivery.
• Work and collaborate with Revit and Civil 3D within a master model.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining high quality and fast-paced production.
• Preferred experience includes water treatment plants, pump stations, fish hatcheries, and hydropower facilities or similar MEP projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience preparing and developing clear, accurate designs with Revit (MEP emphasis), AutoCAD, and ACC/Forma.
• Understanding of the water resource industry, including fish hatcheries, hydroelectric power, and pump storage (preferred).
• Expertise with Autodesk’s Revit, including pipe routing, equipment placement, and clash detection.
• Proficiency with Revit content to fulfill project requirements.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/Forma and AutoCAD.

Skills

• Technical or vocational program completion with a focus in design and drafting; AA/AS preferred.
• Proficiency with Navisworks and 3D coordination.
• 5-7 years of experience as a multi-discipline designer.
• Previous experience with fire protection is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical systems in Revit is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dynamo or Python for Revit is a plus.
• Experience in water resources is a major plus.
• Strong technical writing and professional communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to collaborate productively with multidisciplinary team members on concurrent projects.

Pay

Pay Range: $36.68 - $50.00 per hour (DOE).
