About the role
We are seeking a Revit Team Member to join our growing CAD/BIM/VDC team and take our water resource projects into the Revit environment. This experienced designer will work in a fast-paced engineering setting, often requiring creative solutions to complex design problems. Frequent coordination and communication with design engineers is essential to solving problems, improving processes, and completing projects on time.
Preferred locations for this position are Boise, ID and Denver, CO.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP portions of Revit projects and collaborate with project teams.
- Create and manage views, sheets, and schedules in accordance with standards and desired outcomes.
- Apply knowledge of MEP discipline to actively support projects through all phases of design and delivery.
- Work and collaborate with Revit and Civil 3D within a master model.
- Manage multiple assignments, remain highly organized, and produce high-quality work at a fast pace.
- Preferred experience includes water treatment plants, pump stations, fish hatcheries, hydropower facilities, or similar MEP projects.
Qualifications
- Expert with Autodesk’s Revit.
- Proficient with pipe routing and equipment placement.
- Proficient with clash detection.
- Experience working with Revit content to fulfill project requirements.
- Proficient with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/Forma and AutoCAD.
- At least 5 years of experience preparing and developing clear, accurate designs with Revit (MEP emphasis).
Skills
- Preferred: Completion of a technical or vocational program with a focus in design and drafting; AA/AS degree preferred.
- Proficient with Navisworks and 3D coordination.
- 5–7 years of experience as a multi-discipline designer.
- Previous experience with fire protection is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical systems in Revit is a plus.
- Knowledge of Dynamo or Python for Revit is a plus.
- Experience in water resources (e.g., fish hatcheries, hydroelectric power, pump storage) is a major plus.
- Strong technical writing and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate productively with multidisciplinary team members on concurrent projects.

Pay
Pay range: $36.68 – $50.00 per hour, depending on experience.
