Job Title
About the role
The role is a high-impact position within the Revenue Operations function of Shepherd, a $42M Series B AI-native commercial insurance platform based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Own the GTM operating rhythm, including pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and QBRs, while identifying and fixing process inefficiencies.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives such as territory segmentation, quota setting, and sales compensation design in close partnership with Finance.
- Manage and optimize the sales tech stack, primarily Salesforce and Outreach, while building BI dashboards to provide real-time performance visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Revenue or Sales Operations at high-growth B2B companies.
- Expert-level Salesforce skills alongside proficiency in SQL and BI tools like Metabase or Looker for complex data modeling.
- Strong process instincts and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into actionable recommendations for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of driving scalable growth through strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Experience in defining and implementing sales motions and compensation structures.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Product.
