Patient Flow

• Identifies patients
• Gathers demographic information
• Secures financial and third party insurance data
• Enters registration data
• Verifies and pre-certifies insurance as needed
• Determines patient financial responsibility
• Aids in resolving financial matters through payment agreements or financial assistance applications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years previous medical office experience preferred

Skills

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of filing and office systems
• Organizes work and handles multiple projects/priorities
• Professional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• One year previous pre-certification, registration, billing, and collections experience preferred
• Ability to operate fax, copier, and scanner
