Revenue Cycle Trainer
About the role
The Revenue Cycle Trainer plays a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency and maximizing value across the entire Revenue Cycle by empowering our end-users with expert-level Epic system knowledge. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining engaging and effective training programs, directly impacting user proficiency and the seamless adoption of our Epic platform.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and maintains Epic system training materials and methods for Revenue Cycle end users.
- Administers Epic training sessions, including tracking attendance, assessing proficiency, and evaluating classes.
- Collaborates with Epic teams to align training material development with project timelines.
- Gains an in-depth understanding of Epic application functionality, configuration, operational workflows, and policies to inform training.
- Develops and implements credentialed training programs and materials, actively seeking process improvement opportunities.
- Develops and maintains the master training environment, utilizing reporting and analytics to identify further opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare or related field required.
- Three or more years extensive experience in managing system training, user access and credentialing.
- High level of technical understanding and proficiency in host system functionality, integration, and education.
- Must be a strategic thinker and insightful decision maker with ability to analyze and solve problems and have demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to direct changes to existing routines or practices to meet changing organizational needs.
- Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills to educate and interact with all levels of healthcare professionals.
- Existing certification in hospital and physician billing required for Epic.

Pay
The posted compensation range of $35.70 - $58.91 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
This role is full-time with 80 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The position is remote.
