Summary

Aids customers in frame selection, fitting, and dispensing frames. Utilizes technical information to interpret prescriptions and assist customers with optical products and services.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in frame and lens selection while maintaining social distancing
• Ensure compliance with cleaning protocols and hygiene practices
• Provide accurate product information about frames, lenses, and services
• Communicate benefits of third-party insurance to customers
• Utilize SERVE sales process to identify customer needs and make lens recommendations
• Analyze and interpret prescriptions, communicate with lab and optometrist for accuracy
• Sell, fit, and dispense frames and accessories
• Maintain a clean and orderly dispensing area
• Accurately price products for retail customers
• Adhere to privacy and confidentiality policies
• Participate in training and educational activities
• Complete additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Applicable state licensure for ophthalmic dispensing
• Knowledge and ability to explain optical products, services, analyze prescriptions, fit and dispense
