Retail Guitar Repair Technician

About the Role

As a Repair Tech (Guitar), you will perform maintenance and repairs on customer-owned instruments and assist with store inventory upkeep. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and fostering a positive experience for customers. You will also complete warranty repairs and handle additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to provide a positive experience
• Service and repair guitars and other instruments
• Maintain store-owned gear
• Complete warranty repair work
• Assist with inventory and other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Skilled understanding of guitar repair
• Strong customer focus and communication skills
• Ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and resolve issues
• Ability to learn product knowledge and sales techniques through certification programs
• Effective training and knowledge sharing skills
