Guitar Repair Technician

About the Role

The Repair Tech (Guitar) services and repairs customer-owned instruments, primarily guitars, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This role also assists in maintaining store inventory, completes warranty repairs, and contributes to business growth through excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to provide a positive experience
• Service and repair guitars and other instruments
• Maintain store-owned gear as needed
• Perform warranty repair work
• Assist with additional store duties as assigned

Requirements

• Skilled understanding of guitar repair
• Customer-focused with strong communication and approachability
• Proactive with the ability to identify opportunities and resolve issues
• Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge and sales techniques through certification
• Effective training and communication skills for knowledge transfer

Preferred Attributes

• Foundational knowledge of store products and sales techniques is advantageous
