Retail Full Time Framing Manager

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships and creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achieve and manage team KPIs, including sales and production workload planning.
• Manage inventory and execute shrink and safety programs as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD), assisting with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training new team members.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing and other tasks.
• Interact positively with colleagues and customers, maintaining a respectful and positive attitude.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes, following standard operating procedures and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist customers, acknowledge them, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Support Omni-channel processes as needed.

Requirements

Basic computer skills are required. Previous custom framing experience and retail management experience are preferred. Ability to lift heavy items and work in various environments is necessary.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.

Skills

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
