Responsibilities

  • Effectively onboarding, developing, scheduling, coaching, performance management, and education of retail staff.
  • Ensure each customer is outfitted with everything they need to get started or to keep going.
  • Oversee Retail Sales Associates (Outfitters) to maintain the highest sales metrics in the store and meet sales goals.
  • Coach all store team members on individual sales metrics, helping them achieve business goals by setting expectations, delegating, and providing tools and resources.
  • Foster growth of others through recognition, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Experience in having hard conversations (performance, disciplinary, etc.).
  • Manage administrative tasks, customer interactions, and a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
  • Provide professional and timely internal and external communication.
  • Build and maintain trust from staff and customers by using sound judgment when making business decisions.
  • Possess passion, positivity, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
  • Be collaborative and customer-centric.
  • Be willing to go above and beyond when needed.
  • Support all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities, and functions.

Qualifications

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 2-3 years of retail experience in a customer-facing sales setting.
  • Proven track record of leading by example; provide feedback and coach in the moment.
  • Experience managing administrative tasks, customer interactions, and a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to own and manage a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
  • Experience in having hard conversations (performance, disciplinary, etc.).
  • Experience in building and maintaining trust from staff and customers by using sound judgment when making business decisions.
