Retail Experience Manager

Responsibilities

• Effectively onboarding, developing, scheduling, coaching, performance managing, and educating retail staff.
• Oversee Retail Sales Associates to ensure each customer is outfitted with everything they need.
• Be on the sales floor 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 2-3 years of retail experience in a customer-facing sales setting.
• Proven track record of leading by example; provide feedback and coach in the moment.
• Create the best customer experience by focusing on staff culture and performance management.
• Maintain the highest sales metrics in the store and meet sales goals.
• Coach all store team members on individual sales metrics, helping them achieve business goals.
• Foster growth of others through recognition, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Experience in having hard conversations (performance, disciplinary, etc.).
• Manage administrative tasks, customer interactions, and a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
• Communicate professionally and timely internally and externally.
• Build and maintain trust from staff and customers by using sound judgment.
• Passionate, positive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Collaborative and customer-centric.
• Willing to go above and beyond when needed.
• Support all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities, and functions.

Additional Requirements

• Hours of work for this position may vary based on work schedule.
• Position requires moving around for periods of 2-4 hours without a rest break.
• Occasional moderate to heavy (10-25+lb) lifting and carrying, bending, and reaching overhead may be required.
• Work environment includes substantial communication with customers, working in a retail environment with product displays and stockroom with inventory, and potentially slippery surfaces.
