Retail Counter Sales/Back Up CDL Driver w/Hazmat

About the role

We are hiring for a Retail Counter Sales/Back up Driver in Decatur, TX. This dynamic hybrid role puts you at the front lines of our business, blending your driving expertise with your passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs and guiding them to the right products.
• Engage in inside sales, helping customers assess their needs, providing quotes, and finding the perfect solution.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the store, organizing merchandise and processing sales.
• Be a reliable backup driver, stepping in to safely and reliably deliver essential gases and welding products when needed.

Requirements

• Valid TX Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements.
• One (1) year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to learn and effectively navigate through the sales platform, SAP.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications
