Retail & Community Engagement Manager

Person We Are Looking For

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Retail & Community Engagement Manager who shares our passion for food quality, customer service, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests to the brand.
• Manage and lead a team to support the execution of Holiday baskets and merchandise.
• Organize and lead merchandising efforts, including daily basket making, stocking shelves, and personal shopping assistance.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and shelf organization.
• Support front-of-house restaurant operations as needed.
• Attend and participate in weekly management meetings.
• Engage local schools in Knead Dough Fundraiser events and provide necessary information and paperwork.
• Host Knead Dough community partnership fundraising events.
• Partner with marketing and home office to host brand-wide events and classes, as well as individual store events.
• Collaborate with General Managers, District Leadership, Regional Leadership, and home office team to ensure store events are successful, reflective of the brand, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Engage and facilitate partnerships with realtors and title companies in the community to drive gift basket and catering sales for the restaurant.

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service/retail experience.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handler and sanitation standards.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including availability during peak lunch traffic hours on weekdays and Saturdays, and additional hours during November and December, including weekends and some extended hours.
• Available to work Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to be qualified for this position.
