The Retail Manager role supports either the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production).

About the role

This multi-faceted role is part of Savers, an international thrift retailer. Savers is committed to championing reuse and inspiring a future where secondhand is second nature. We supply our stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items that have been donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. We purchase these items directly from our nonprofit partners, redirecting billions of pounds of used items away from landfills and on to our store racks and shelves for reuse, and providing our partners with valuable funding for their community-based programs and services.

Responsibilities

  • Support the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production)
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure stock availability
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Proven management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Experience with retail operations and customer service
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college education preferred
  • Experience in a similar role

  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of retail operations and customer service

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
