About the role

The Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) works with residents needing restorative nursing measures to gain or to maintain their highest, possible, practical functioning level. Provides direct restorative care and delegated therapy tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct restorative care and delegated therapy tasks.
  • Communicates effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Functions independently with indirect supervision.
  • Trains in gait belt use, safe transfers, and body mechanics.
  • Serves a diverse population with people from all walks of life.

Requirements

  • Current California license as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • CPR certification.
  • Obtain RNA certification within 6 months of hire.

  • Knowledgeable in communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with indirect supervision.
  • Training in gait belt use, safe transfers, and body mechanics.

Child Care

PDH provides a Child Care Center service for all families in the area. The program operates from 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday, and is approved for children aged 0 to 5 years.
