Restorative Nursing Aide - Full Time

About the role

Join our not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing over 100 years of housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. Restorative Nursing Aide, responsible for delivering resident-centered care in long-term care settings during day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and eating.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, fall prevention, and use of adaptive equipment to promote residents' independence and quality of life.
• Use proper body mechanics, handle linens correctly, and ensure infection control by adhering to safety protocols and PPE guidelines.
• Document care, monitor resident progress, and report changes promptly.
• Support special programs aimed at enhancing residents' physical and psychological well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified with a valid state certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Completion of CNA training and specialized restorative care training (may be provided by organization).
• Maintain competency through yearly testing and continuing education.
• Dependent on responsibilities, may require a valid driver’s license and medical clearance for driving.
