Restorative Nursing Aide - Full Time

About the role

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing over 100 years of quality housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. The Restorative Nursing Aide is responsible for delivering resident-centered care in long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and eating.
• Implement mobility, balance, and strengthening exercises, incorporating adaptive equipment and fall prevention techniques.
• Support programs aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life and independence.
• Use proper body mechanics, handle linens appropriately, and follow infection prevention protocols.
• Document resident progress, recognize changes in condition, and communicate with nursing staff.
• Utilize electronic medical records accurately and adhere to safety and health guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16.
• Must hold valid CNA certification as per state requirements.
• Experience in long-term care and restorative procedures is preferred.
• Complete annual competency assessments and maintain continuing education credits.
• Ability to meet motor vehicle and health requirements if applicable.
