Restorative Nursing Aide - Full Time

About the role

Join our not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. Position: Restorative Nursing Aide, responsible for delivering resident-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with mobility, balance, and strengthening exercises
• Using adaptive equipment
• Fall prevention
• Positioning and repositioning
• Basic range of motion exercises
• Documenting resident progress
• Providing daily living assistance such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and eating, following care plans and infection control protocols
• Ensuring proper use of equipment, linens, and personal protective equipment
• Accurately utilizing electronic medical records
• Recognizing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions promptly

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified with a high school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum age 16
• Prior clinical or long-term care experience preferred
• Completion of required CNA training and restorative care procedures training
• Maintains ongoing competency and continuing education
• May require valid driver’s license and medical clearance if responsible for driving
