Restorative Nursing Aide - Full Time

About the role

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality housing and services to seniors in a compassionate, Christian environment. As a Restorative Nursing Aide, you will deliver resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility exercises
• Use adaptive equipment and fall prevention techniques
• Perform basic range of motion exercises
• Document resident progress and recognize changes in condition
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
• Provide direct care, support residents’ independence, and contribute to their overall well-being
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and documentation standards

Requirements

• Must be CNA certified
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum age 16
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience is beneficial
• Completion of CNA training and ongoing competency and continuing education
• May involve driving responsibilities; valid driver’s license and medical clearance required

Skills

• Knowledge of age-appropriate care and infection prevention
• Proper body mechanics and use of medical equipment
• Ability to handle linens and supplies properly
• Accurate use of electronic medical records (EMR)
