Respiratory Therapist - NICU, Night Shift

About the role

Provide compassionate, patient-centered respiratory care across diverse specialties, including emergency, surgical, cardiac, cancer, and behavioral health services. Float between Adult and NICU units, offering flexible support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures for adults and newborns in Labor and Delivery.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and interpret results.
• Maintain and manage respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in respiratory therapy sciences.
• Experience in neonatal respiratory care or successful completion of related training and competency validation.
• Licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners and registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; active practice in both adult and neonatal areas.
• Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential preferred.
