NICU - Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

About the role

Provides direct patient respiratory care based on physician orders, acting as a key resource for physicians and nursing staff. Performs routine duties and consults on therapy effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments
• Collaborate with medical teams
• Act as an advanced resource in respiratory care

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• PALS certification required for ER staff; ACLS preferred

Skills & Physical Demands

• Proficient with respiratory care devices
• Capable of pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs
• Minimal kneeling, crouching, or crawling required
