NICU - Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Role Overview

Provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients based on physician orders, acting as a key resource for physicians and nursing staff. Performs duties related to respiratory therapy and consults on therapy effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using respiratory care devices.
• Consult with physicians regarding therapy outcomes and effectiveness.
• Act as an advanced resource for respiratory care within the healthcare team.
• Perform assigned duties to support patient respiratory health.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current state licensure and Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• Preferred: ACLS certification; PALS for ER roles.
• Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and minimal kneeling or crawling.

Equipment & Environment

Utilizes all appropriate respiratory care devices to support patient needs.
