Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
- Approaches all guests interactions in a positive “Can Do” manner while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and instills the same to all personnel
- Prepares Room Attendant’s daily assignments in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper by monitoring the computer system to track vacancies for inclusion in the cleaning schedule
- Inspects all rooms assigned to attendants on a daily basis and maintains accurate audit records
- Notifies attendants of all deficiencies found in the room(s) and ensures timely correction
- Performs re-inspections
- SUBMITTED MAINTENANCE REQUEST TO THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
- CONFERS WITH THE FRONT DESK ON ROOM DISCREPANCIES REPORTED BY GUESTS
- Inspects Room Attendant’s carts/signs at the end of each shift
- ENSURES PROPER SECURITY MEASURES ARE TAKEN WITH THE “PASS KEY” ENTRUSTED TO EACH ROOM ATTENDANT DURING SHIFT
- Maintains an adequate supply of linens, cleaning chemicals and amenity inventories by consistently completing sign out sheets for all products
Secondary Functions
- PERFORMS ALL ROOM ATTENDANT DUTIES AS NEEDED DEPENDING ON STAFFING AND OCCUPANCY LEVELS AND CONSISTENT WITH THE POSITION’S JOB DESCRIPTION
- AIDES THE EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER IN ASSIGNING DUTIES
- RESPECTS ALL GUESTS’ CONFIDENTIALITY AND PERFORMS DUTIES IN A HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER
- ASSISTS WITH ALL ASPECTS OF A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR ALL HOUSEKEEPING PERSONNEL
- PERFORMS ALL DUTIES IN A SAFE MANNER

Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED desired. A minimum of 1 year proven supervisory experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
