Responsibilities

  • Notify telephone company of switchboard operational difficulties reported by operators.
  • Maintain record of incoming and outgoing long-distance and tie-line calls, noting duration and time of calls.
  • Compile a phone directory, arrange for distribution to designated personnel, and keep record of directories distributed.
  • Assign switchboard positions.
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
  • Issue written and oral instructions.
  • Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
  • Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
  • Prepare composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
  • Adjust errors and manage complaints.
  • Train new team members and keep attendance records.
  • Ensure faxes and mail are distributed and handled correctly.
  • Conduct a daily audit and trace any questionable phone problems.

Requirements

  • 1 year previous supervisory experience in a call-center environment required.
  • Must be able to work second shift, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company golf carts.
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure every guest is welcomed and assisted.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
