Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animals
  • Oversee the teams that are cleaning restrooms, sweeping pathways, and clearing restaurant tables
  • Create and maintain team's daily rotation grid
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improve
  • Respond to guest and ambassador needs
  • Report to Supervisors and Managers regarding the status of projects
  • Oversee completion of daily opening and closing procedures
  • Utilize problem solving skills to ensure positive guest resolutions as needed
  • Responsible for the development of trainers and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching
  • Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills needed
  • Valid state driver's license preferred
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to complete provided CPR/AED training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortability speaking in front of large groups of guests and ambassadors
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend and stoop to assist in cleaning the park
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to able to climb stairs
  • Ability to walk in sand
  • Five full days of open availability (Full time)
  • Three full days of availability (Part time)
  • Availability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours (Open 4am-1230pm, Mid 9am-530pm, Close 130pm-1000pm)
