Residential Youth Caregiver - Full-Time

Role Overview

Full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, guidance, supervision, and support to students in on-campus homes, fostering a family-like environment that promotes academic, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision, mentorship, and leadership
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Legally married couples for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to obtain certification for driving student vans
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Integrity, professionalism, and role-model qualities
• Comfort leading students in devotions and attending Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)

Additional Requirements & Benefits

• Limited dependents (up to three children) in the student home
• Smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved dog
• Support for transition into a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students
• Salary approximately $46,917 per person, including housing, meals, utilities, and benefits
