About the Role
Full-time Flex Houseparents are responsible for providing care, guidance, and supervision to students in on-campus homes, fostering a family-like environment that supports students' academic, emotional, and social growth.
Responsibilities
- Daily supervision and mentorship of students
- Managing household routines and schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities
- Planning developmental and recreational events
- Leading devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing household budgeting and reporting
- Supporting various student homes initially on a rotating schedule, then transitioning to living and working with the same group of students
Requirements
- Experience working with youth
- Married couples (legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading religious activities
- Must adhere to campus policies regarding smoking, weapons, pets, and alcohol
- Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a high commitment to student success
