About the role
An Adult Residential Support Professional provides direct care in a residential treatment setting for adult males, supporting recovery through supervision, encouragement, and life-skills coaching.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support residents, ensuring safety and adherence to treatment plans
- Serve as a positive role model, offering daily encouragement and guidance
- Document observations and maintain accurate records
- Assist with medication monitoring, housekeeping, meals, and daily activities
- Transport residents and facilitate educational and life-skills activities
- Respond to emergencies, ensuring a safe and structured environment
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
