About the role
Support professionals assist residents in a residential treatment setting, providing supervision, encouragement, and life-skills coaching to promote recovery and safety.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support residents, ensuring a safe and structured environment
- Serve as a positive role model and encourage daily progress
- Document observations and support treatment plans
- Assist with medication monitoring, housekeeping, meals, and daily activities
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities
- Facilitate educational and life-skills activities
- Respond to emergencies, maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
