Weekend Support Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Support, supervise, and serve as a positive role model for residents
• Assist with medication monitoring and administration per program policies
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
• Help residents develop daily living skills and achieve treatment goals
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to diverse populations
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Preferred DHS 83 training (or completed after hire). Local travel may be required (approx. 25–50%).

This position focuses on supporting residents in a trauma-informed, gender-specific recovery environment, promoting independence and safety through direct care, documentation, and community engagement.
