Weekend Support Worker - Part-Time

About the role

This part-time position provides support, supervision, and positive role modeling for residents in a trauma-informed environment focused on recovery and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and positive role modeling for residents
• Assist with medication monitoring and administration following program policies
• Complete accurate, confidential documentation and record-keeping
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
• Support residents with daily living skills and treatment goals
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to diverse populations
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Additional Information

• DHS 83 training preferred or completed after hire
• Local travel may be required (approximately 25–50%)

Pay: $17.75 per hour
