Residential Support Professional

About the role

The Adult Residential Support Professional provides compassionate support in a trauma-informed, gender-specific residential program for adult women with addictions.

Responsibilities

• Offer supervision, positive role modeling, and assistance with daily living skills
• Monitor medication and administer treatments as per policies
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and laundry
• Support residents’ treatment goals and respond to emergencies
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Preferred experience in human services or behavioral health
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining boundaries
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• A respectful, patient approach
• DHS 83 training preferred or to be completed after hire

Schedule

• Part-time role
• Every other weekend work
• One-hour weekday staff meeting
• Local travel may be required

Pay

$17.75/hour
