Adult Residential Support Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents.
• Build professional relationships with residents.
• Observe, document, and report behaviors.
• Support treatment goals for residents.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
• Monitor and administer medications.
• Assist with daily activities such as hygiene, meals, and personal care.
• Transport residents to appointments, activities, or other destinations.
• Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests.
• Facilitate groups and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding resident information.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background and medical clearances.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in substance use or behavioral health.
• Coursework in related fields.
• DHS 83 training or willingness to complete it.

Work Environment

Residential treatment setting involving physical activity, outdoor supervision, and local travel. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and use stairs.
