About the role
Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift) at Fahrman Center, a 42-bed residential treatment facility for adults in recovery. Work environment: residential setting with physical activity; outdoor supervision; local travel required.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents
- Maintain professional boundaries
- Observe, document, and report behaviors
- Support treatment goals
- Respond to crises
- Monitor medications
- Assist with daily activities
- Transport residents
- Conduct urinalyses and breathalyzer tests
- Facilitate educational groups
- Ensure confidentiality
- Attend meetings and trainings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass background and medical clearances
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain boundaries
- Must be able to conduct urine analysis as a male staff member
Preferred Skills
- Experience in substance use or behavioral health
- Coursework in related fields
- DHS 83 training or ability to complete it
