About the role
This position involves providing care, support, and supervision to residents in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor residents and document behaviors
- Assist with housekeeping and supplies
- Administer medications
- Share updates with partners
- Respond to emergencies
- Support residents' treatment goals
- Lead educational activities
- Provide basic first aid
- Transport residents
- Help with life skills and meal prep
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in social services preferred
- Prior experience in similar settings is advantageous
Skills
- Strong reading, writing, math, problem-solving, and professionalism
- Valid driver’s license preferred, with required background checks
- Certifications in fire safety, first aid, and medication administration are beneficial
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to perform duties
- Effective communication
- Ability to work in a community residential environment
- Travel for day trips may be necessary
