About the role
The Direct Support Professional actively supports individuals with developmental disabilities by providing meaningful activities, direct support, and training to promote independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive environment
- Implement individual support and behavior management plans
- Assist with daily living activities
- Administer medications
- Facilitate community access
- Ensure safety and dignity
- Maintain clear communication

- Participate in training
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record if driving is required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
