Residential Support Professional
About The Role
We’re hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, hands-on care to individuals in our residential programs in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. As a DSP, you’ll empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently and thrive within their communities. This is a direct care role that requires reliability, empathy, and a heart for service.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and supervision in a residential setting
- Support individuals in achieving independence with daily tasks and routines
- Encourage participation in social and community activities
- Monitor health, safety, and well-being of individuals
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and agency policies
- Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report concerns to the Program Specialist
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in direct care or behavioral health services (preferred)
- Familiarity with I/DD populations and residential care settings (preferred)
