Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full project lifecycle for luxury residential builds and renovations, including pre-construction planning, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and budgets; monitor progress and implement corrective actions to meet milestones and financial targets.

  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and on-site teams to ensure work is executed to luxury quality standards and project specifications.
  • Serve as primary client liaison: manage expectations, provide regular status updates, address concerns, and ensure exceptional client experience throughout the build.
  • Perform quality control inspections, enforce finish standards, and manage punch lists to ensure final delivery meets luxury specifications.
  • Manage procurement of materials, long-lead items and specialty finishes; work with designers and suppliers to source high-end fixtures and finishes.
  • Administer contracts, change orders, and project documentation; ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
  • Implement site safety programs and maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site.
  • Prepare regular project reports for owners and stakeholders, including cost forecasts, progress updates, risk registers, and schedule variance.
  • Mentor and coordinate project site staff and junior project managers to develop team capabilities and ensure consistent delivery standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience in residential construction with a focus on luxury or high-end homes.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, high-quality residential projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong construction knowledge including methods, finishes, and systems relevant to luxury residential builds.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and change orders.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills; ability to manage expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficient with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend), scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera or similar), and MS Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and site safety regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; relevant certifications (PMP, CCM, or GC license) a plus.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to spend significant time on-site.
