Responsibilities
- Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents in a residential addiction treatment setting.
- Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and teaching life skills.
- Maintain confidential records, complete documentation, and administer medications per policies.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and crises; transport residents to appointments and community activities.
- Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests as needed.
- Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
- Participate in trainings and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver's license preferred; must meet driving requirements.
- Completion of DHS training may be required post-hire.
