Residential Care Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

  • Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents in a residential addiction treatment setting.
  • Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and teaching life skills.
  • Maintain confidential records, complete documentation, and administer medications per policies.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and crises; transport residents to appointments and community activities.
  • Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests as needed.
  • Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
  • Participate in trainings and staff meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Valid driver's license preferred; must meet driving requirements.
  • Completion of DHS training may be required post-hire.
