Residential Care Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery
• Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
• Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation
• Administer medications and respond to emergencies or crises appropriately
• Transport residents and support their participation in community activities
• Collect specimens and lead educational groups to support treatment goals
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Valid driver's license preferred; must meet driving requirements
• Completion of DHS training may be required post-hire

Additional Details

Part-time role, primarily Saturdays and Sundays, with benefits including paid time off, mileage reimbursement, retirement plan, annual pay increases, and support programs.
