Residential Care Worker - Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Adult Residential Support Professional to provide hands-on assistance in a residential addiction treatment setting for adult men.

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and role-model positive behaviors for residents
• Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
• Complete documentation and maintain confidential client records
• Administer medications and respond to emergencies appropriately
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities
• Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as required
• Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals
• Attend trainings and staff meetings

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Valid driver’s license preferred and meeting driving requirements
• Completion of DHS training post-hire may be required
